Mission of a Toastmasters Club
The mission of our Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive
learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop
communication and leadership skills, which in turn fosters self-confidence
and personal growth.
Our Pledge!
All Cumberland Forest Toastmasters are encouraged to consider their obligations
to themselves and our club!
As a member of Cumberland Forest Toastmasters, I pledge:
1. To attend meetings on a regular basis and fully prepare for each assignment
2. To actively participate in club activities & assignments
3. To evaluate others in a positive and constructive manner
4. To build open and friendly relationships with fellow members & visitors
5. To invite new guests to the club so they can also enjoy the benefits of Toastmasters
