CFTM Toastmaster of the Year (CFTM TMotY)Established in 2004-2005, the Toastmaster of the Year award is presented to the member who has consistently performed during the given year. It is our award for excellence. The first year of issue was at the President's discretion, and was principally based on the TI Toastmaster of the Year tally, as described in the 2004-2005 President's manual. For subsequent years, the winner is determined through a combination of Performance Incentive Program (PIP) points gained, and other 'factors. The Executive Committee determines the recipient in May of each year, and is awarded in June - usually during the celebratory meeting at which new club officers are inducted.
CFTM Rising Star AwardEstablished in 2006-2007, the CFTM Rising Star Award is presented to a new member who has shown excellent participation, and growth during their first 18 months in the club. It is our recognition of up and coming talent.Rising Star Award applicants are not eligible for the CFTM TMotY Award. The Executive Committee determines the recipient in May of each year, and is awarded in June - usually during the celebratory meeting at which new club officers are inducted.
