Darren Gilchrist has been a Toastmaster since October 2002, and has completed his Competent ToastMaster (CTM) award. He is also a Competent Leader (CL). He was Secretary in 2003/2004, and President in 2004/2005. Darren has been re-elected as President for 2005/2006. "Toastmasters has definitely improved my public speaking skills; educated me on how to conduct meetings more effectively; and increased my leadership abilities. These have had an incredibly positive impact on my career and personal life! It has also been a great privilege to serve as a club officer in CFTM - knowing that I've made a difference to the club and the members around me."
