Toastmasters has two educational tracks for members. You get to practice these at every meeting, and outside the club.

• Communications - helping you become a better communicator
• Leadership - giving you the opportunity to develop your leadership skills.

In January 2006, Toastmasters made changes to their curriculum, including i) changing the name of some previous awards, and ii) introducing a new Competent Leader (CL) award.
